Jeneva, 10 Sept, – FIFA 19 RATINGS appear to have been leaked during EA Sports' top 100 countdown, with a surprise at the top between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
FIFA 19 ratings are being gradually teased by EA Sports ahead of their new game, but the best stars on the new edition appear to have been leaked.
The countdown had reached the top 40, but a leaked image gives a strong indication of the final ratings.
The 87-rated stars in the list all match up with the official ratings confirmed by EA Sports, suggesting that the top 40 are also accurate.
There's a shock at the top as Lionel Messi seems to have closed the gap on Cristiano Ronaldo with both stars ranked at 94.
The Barcelona superstar was handed a 93 rating last season, with Ronaldo reigning supreme as the world's best player.
But despite a summer of being snubbed for major European awards and honours, Messi has been restored to the same level as Ronaldo, who has soaked up the media spotlight for months through the Champions League, World Cup and big transfer to Juventus.
Neymar continues to rank third in the world despite a lacklustre summer, with six superstars tied behind him on the 91-mark.
Three Premier League representatives are among the top 10 players, including Manchester United hero David De Gea who has overtaken Manuel Neuer to become the highest-rated goalkeeper in the world.
Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Chelsea ace Eden Hazard are also among the top 10, but there's no room for Mohamed Salah.
The Liverpool sensation produced a stunning debut season for the Reds in 2017/18, but despite his success, must settle outside the 90+ club.
Salah has been awarded an 88 rating on FIFA 19, a big increase on his 83 from last season, though many fans would've hoped for even more based on last season's displays.
UEFA Player of the Year Luka Modric has been upgraded, so too has Real Madrid team-mate Sergio Ramos.
Real Madrid stars have generally enjoyed increases following their third successive Champions League triumph, though Barcelona's main men have also been handed upgrades.
Philippe Coutinho has leaped up the ladder despite failing to set La Liga alight following his move from Liverpool.
Luis Suarez has dipped slightly after showing signs of a decline, while Samuel Umtiti, Jordi Alba, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are all among the top 50.
Take a look through the image above to reveal a leaked image of the possible Top 50 players in FIFA 19 ahead of the release date on September 28th.
